In order to enable the software to update the position more quickly, I wanted to develop software to process only the TLM and HOW words.
Following the initial processing, the time at which the future TLM/HOW words will be transmitted is known. Collecting the new information would provide a time update as well as new pseudoranges for the satellites.
Software was developed which can successfully collect only the TLM/HOW data, but an updated position fix was not achieved. Issues involving the real-time collection of this data not initially considered added unanticipated challenges to this task.
