Range-Finding Rear-Collision Accident Prediction and Warning For Motorcycles with Integrated Signal Vest

Schedule

By the end of the year, the full on paper design should be complete, so all circuitry including power stabilizing capacitors, subsystem connection voltage adjustments, power regulation, and main components will be mapped out. There will also be backup circuits in the case that the input voltage of a system needs to be increased or decreased to meet system specifications. By January 1st, all parts will have been identified and ordered. At this time, the circuits will be built and tested. By the end of January, the sensor will be built and time of flight measurements will be read. Once time's can be read, then the distances will need to be calculated. This task will be finished by March 1st. Once the distances are reliably read, then the algorithms can be put to use, and the interfacing between the sensor and the LED can be made. These tasks will take until the end of March, thus leaving all of April for delays and setbacks to be found and dealt with.
