Kevin will be graduating from Bradley University in May of 2016 with a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Management Information Systems. He was a Bradley University Lewis J Berger Center Leadership and Service Fellow from 2011 to 2015 and has been an active member of Bradley University SERVE for the past four years. Kevin has interned with both Caterpillar Inc. and Honda R&D Americas. His professional interests include user centered interface design and embedded control software.

Timothy De Pasion

Timothy will be graduating in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration from Bradley University. He has been an executive member of IEEE and currently serves as the Initiation Chair of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. He had an internship at Caterpillar, Inc., where he worked on telematics solutions and currently works as a Teacher’s Assistant and Tutor for Bradley University. His professional interest is control theory.

Benjamin Roos

Benjamin plans to graduate from Bradley University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He has served as the president of the Engineers Without Borders chapter at Bradley and as treasurer of BUFusion, a mobile application design club at Bradley. Benjamin had an internship at Caterpillar, Inc., where he worked on aftertreatment controls on large mining trucks. His professional interests include control theory. Ben is an avid supporter of local cuisine in the Peoria area.

Alexander Schmidt

Alexander will be graduating in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration from Bradley University. Alex is currently Vice President of the Bradley Rock Climbing Club, Recruitment Chair of Bradley IEEE, and the Bradley Rock Wall Manager. He has interned with KJWW Engineering Consultants, and has a permanent job offer with KJWW Engineering Consultants upon graduation. His professional interests include control theory, and hobbies include snowboarding and rock climbing.

Dr. Gary Dempsey

Dr. Dempsey graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He had ten years of industrial design experience before starting at Bradley in 1992. He has been a design consultant with Comdial Corporation, Caterpillar’s Systems and Controls Research Department, and Motorola Research Labs. His teaching interests include control theory, modeling of physical systems, artificial neural networks, analog circuit design, embedded control applications, and EE laboratory development. Hobbies include fishing, golf, and Bradley Basketball.
