Modular Rapid Monitoring System

The Department of Electrical Engineering has partnered with Martin Engineering to create a prototype of a Modular Rapid Monitoring System. The goal of this project is to produce a monitoring system to enhance diagnostics and detection of imminent machine failures. The historical data of recorded transient responses will potentially help diagnose and troubleshoot problems with the machine. This will help to reduce downtime as well as make the production process safer.

Goal

The goal of this project is to produce a monitoring system to better help companies detect when a machine is going to fail.  The system will analyze a variety of inputs to help diagnose and troubleshoot problems with the machine.  This will help to reduce downtime as well as make the production process much safer.

This project is being performed in association with Bradley University and the Bradley University Department of Electrical Engineering.
