About Us

Juan Vazquez


Juan expects to graduate in May of 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. He has interned at G&W Electric, the summers of 2012-2014, where he focused on product engineering and the current limiting protection field. He was vice president of IEEE in 2014 and is currently an executive member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He is also currently an active member of the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. His professional interests include embedded systems and digital signal processing.

Dan Kubik


Dan expects to graduate in May of 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Business Management. The summer of 2015, he interned at Caterpillar Inc. where he expanded his knowledge on power electronics and multi-objective optimization through simulation. He is enrolled in the Bradley University Honors Program, serves on the Honors Advisory Council, and tutors students in math and science. He's a member of IEEE and Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. His professional interests include digital signal processing and communication theory.

David Bumpus


David expects to graduate in May of 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Computer Option) and a minor in Business Administration. He has interned at Caterpillar Inc., the summer of 2015, where he worked on a software development team and led the implementation of a new issue tracking system. He has worked as an Assistant Resident Advisor on Bradley University’s Residential Living Staff since 2014. His professional interests include autonomous navigation and image processing for neurological medicine applications.

Dr. José Sánchez


Dr. Sánchez received his Ph. D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2010 from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. He is currently an Associate Professor at Bradley University. He is a senior member of IEEE and is also a member of the American Society for Engineering Education. He is also an advisor for a variety of student organizations, including Tau Beta Pi, IEEE, and SHPE. His specialties include biomedical imaging, embedded systems, and real-time implementation of digital signal processing.

Mr. Nick Schmidt


Mr. Schmidt received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from Bradley University. He is currently a Laboratory Directory for the Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University. He has also been an advisor for the Bradley University Roboboat Team recurrently since 2013. His professional interests include autonomous navigation and embedded systems.
