About Me

My name is Andrew Aubry. I am currently a senior engineering student at Bradley University, studying Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineering was introduced to me by my project advisor, Dr. Ahn. I immeditaely took a strong liking to the subject due to the complexity of the problems and the need for a multi-disciplinary approach in creating solutions. Having an intimate knowledge of how different systems work and interact has been a main motivator in pursuing a double major in the electrical and mechanical fields. Career interests lie primarily in the defense industry, with a focus on GNC.

On campus I am involved in numerous student organizations, including Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Engineers Without Borders (EWB), and Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society. Through the organizations I am involved with, I've had multiple opportunities to serve in leadership roles, including VP of Finance for Sigma Phi Epsilon, and Project Coordinator for EWB. These roles have provided ample opportunity to grow as a leader in the Bradley community. Service opportunities have also been available through the projects for EWB. Currently, our chapter is working on a water imrpovement project for the community of Nuevas Illusiones in Guatamela. This project has allowed me to apply my skills in a real world setting, while being able to travel and see the direct impact of my service.
