VLSI Chip Design with Error Detection and Correction Codes

By:  Zohra Hussain

Overview:

A 7-bit code word will be transmitted and stored in a register.  The code will then be be processed through error detection circuitry, and if an error is detected, the error correction circuitry will correct the erroneous data.  The new information code will be sent to a 4x16 memory chip for storage.  Refer to the Block Diagram and the Functional Description for further deatils.
