DC Motor Control by Pulse Width Modulation for An Electric Vehicle Application

by
Rick Raczak and Mark Roms
Advisor: Dr. R. Jetton

The purpose of this project is to design and build a dc motor controller that is highly efficient and has quick response time. The motor is controlled by an SCR driven chopper circuit. The SCRs are triggered by a pulse width modulated signal generated by a digital logic speed controller.
