Programmable Controller/Measurer/Actuator Board
by Abdul Aziz and Chris Hoadley Too often when performing control experiments more time is spent designing
the hardware than concentrating on the subtle aspects of control theory.
Our project provides the hardware necessary to control a wide variety of
different systems. The hardware on our board is controlled by a 6809 microprocessor,
and has 8K bytes of EPROM and RAM each. The board also has a serial interface
which allows code to be directly downloaded from a PC. Other features include
digital I/0, A/D, D/A, frequency input, variable duty cycle square wave,
and line voltage control.
