Liquid Level Control System

A system to control the liquid level in a 10 gallon tank was designed, built, and tested. The system is to read a desired level from a switch, and the system adjusts the level in the tank to match this desired level. A 6805 microcontroller and appropriate software control the system. Flow sensors connected to an 8-bit counter and level sensors in the tank are used to supply data about the current status of the system. The microcontroller uses this data and the desired level to control solenoid valves which regulate flow into and out of the tank. Manual inflow and outflow valves are also included to perturb the system for testing purposes.
